Get your hands dirty with AIGA Boston!

We're offering two half day workshops with Jim Sherraden from Nashville's Hatch Show Print! The workshops will take place at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design's letterpress facilities, with over 60lbs of historic letterpress blocks brought from Hatch Show Print. You'll work with Jim to produce prints that will be printed on MassArt's Vandercook cylinder presses, as well as learning hand-brayering techniques.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own clothing (t-shirts, jeans, etc.), backpacks, or other fabric to print on. This workshop is hands-on and you're going to get messy, so make sure to wear something that you wouldn't mind tossing out. No prior knowledge of letterpress is required. Supplies (such as paper and ink) will be supplied for the workshop.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.
